| What do you have planned for main programming?
We plan to fill the weekend with events that cater to everyone! We have a fantastic line-up of live music as well as as a powerful collection of premium entertainers. As varied as our attendees can be, we’re always trying to avoid niche programming and focus on features that will be compelling for all types of guests. We hope to avoid passive panels and try to include the audience in everything. |

What do you mean by “include the audience”?
There are plenty of shows where guests and experts sit up on a dais, read out their instructions, then leave you to your own devices. We’d prefer the experts were on the floor with the workshop attendees, offering hands-on experiences with constant feedback. We learn best by doing, so why not get some experience while you’re at a convention? |

In fact, we have tried our best to have every single programming event feature some aspect of input from the audience, but that hasn’t quite worked out. We have a few programs that are just too much fun to pass up, so we’ve included them in the line-up. But if you have an idea for programming that would work with our goals, let us know! We might still have some space to fit it in! |
| What kinds of programming are you featuring?
Main Programming features (to name a few): musician performances, costuming workshops, crafts workshops, a charity casino, game shows, short film features, malevolent karaoke, live action (boffer) Risk, a poetry slam, Guitar Hero & Rock Band tournaments. We’ll also be throwing in several pickup events like team trivia, karaoke, and outdoor/pool games as conditions allow. Additionally, in our suite space we’ll offer specialty tasting presentations, a chick-flick trivia party, and other more casual events. |

What’s a “Gaming Widow”?
Not everyone who comes to a convention is eager to spend their time rolling dice and drawing cards. Our beloved wives and husbands often tolerate our eccentricities with the patience of saints. Those who spend the weekend wandering the halls, lamenting the loss of their gamer partner to the throes of your typical gaming con… these are our Gaming Widows. And Play On Con has an entire main programming track dedicated to making their weekend enjoyable. |

We’ve got events planned that don’t involve dice. We’ve got entertainment planned that doesn’t require a working knowledge of the Sci-Fi Channel prime time schedule. We have daytime events scheduled that feature crafts for old and young alike. And as long as the weather permits, we’ll also have activities around the pool. |
| Are there prizes available in main programming as well?
We want all our guests to Play On for the weekend. We’ll be hosting trivia contests as well as live game shows. Participate and you’ll be eligible for glory, loot, and the adoration of the masses. So yes… oh yes… there will be prizes. |
